Yellow jackets!!!?
HELP! We have been bombarded by yellow jackets after after the tropical storm came through. There is no nest to get rid of, they are just hovering around my balcony. If you go out, they dive bomb you. HELPPPPP
Here’s a solution. Take a 1 litre plastic pop bottle and cut offthe top, right below the shoulder slope. Turn the top upside down and insert it into the bottom part. Staple it in place. Pour pop, sugar water, juice, etc into it until you have about an inch, in the bottom. Punch holes in the top, to hang or just set it on your balcony.
The wasps will fly in, to drink the liquid, but won’t be able to get out and will die. Make as many of these, as you need, to take care of the problem.
