Why are parking tickets in Los Angeles so high?
I can’t believe that you are being charged $50 by the city if you don’t move your car on the day when there is street cleaning. I understand that the city wants to make money, but how have they been able to push tickets to such an excessive amount? I know other western countries in Europe that charge $5 for the same violation. In addition my street didn’t even get cleaned last time when it was suppose to, yet they still handed out tickets.
Because despite the “high” cost of the tickets they still could not clean the streets because of all the morons that were parked there.
