How to go to the Staples Center from UCLA by public transit?
I’m still new to the area and haven’t been outside of Westwood yet. How would I go about taking the public transit out to the Staples Center? I’m assuming the subway might take me there if I take a bus to the nearest subway station, but again, I don’t know the area at all. Some might be able to guess why I’m asking. I’m surprised nobody else has asked yet really!

now you can board Santa Monica Big blue bus #1 bus
when you get on the #1 bus ask the driver for EXPRESS day pass
for $3.50..
then you can take the #1 bus to Bundy and Santa Monica and transfer
to SM#10 bus which will take to olive and 12 and then you walk over about 3 blocks to the Staples center

you could just take 720 from wilshire and westwood to grand and 6th then you can walk about 12 blocks to the center
the subway isnt really going to help
