Can I use a disabled parking pass from one state in another state?
I am a current Texas resident and hold a disabled parking pass (the kind that hangs from the rearview mirror) in the state of Texas. I will soon be moving to California and my question is, will I be able to use my disabled pass from Texas while in California?
I went back to my native birth-state of California this year for vacation. I do have Handicapped Parking tags for my motor vehicle including the Handicapped Parking Hanging Placard.
I told the California Department of Motor Vehicles that I have an out of state Handicapped Parking Hanging Placard. The California Department of Motor Vehicles told me that I needed to apply for ‘Travel Parking Placard” for out of state visitors (non-residents).
