2010 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio – Bengals vs Cowboys

The traditional Hall of Fame Game from Canton, OH will kick off NFL betting for the 2010 preseason tonight as the Dallas Cowboys meet the Cincinnati Bengals at Fawcett Stadium, the famed high school ball yard that the NFL uses for this game to remind everyone of the game’s humble roots. Kickoff for tonight’s game is at 8:00pm EST and the broadcast will be on NBC TV. Cincinnati opened at online sportsbooks as a 3-point favorite in NFL betting odds with an over/under total of 33. The Bengals have been working at getting their new receiving corps in sync with quarterback Carson Palmer.

Chad Ochocinco now has newly acquired Terrell Owens as his partner on the Cincinnati receiving department. “I think timing will come as we keep doing more things together,” said Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis. “That is probably one aspect of things that we have to continue to work hard at. Heading into the NFL odds for the 2010 Hall of Fame game, the Bengals top unit will be looking to cut down on mistakes. “It’s been a while since we’ve been in a game like atmosphere,” Palmer said. “It’s the first game of the season. People are excited and we’re excited.”

Lewis said the Bengals first unit will play some of the first quarter but would not specify how much of that quarter. No more than two series are expected for the starters of either side as they were both playoff teams last year and expected to contend again in NFL betting for the 2010 season. The Cowboys have never won the Hall of Fame Game in their storied history. Dallas has had some injury problems in camp starting with wide receiver Dez Bryant going down in practice last week. He will be out until the regular season opener. Quarterback Tony Romo has had a sore arm and will likely see limited action for Dallas.
