What was the piano/synthesizer used in the Owl City music video, “Fireflies”?
I don’t know what the name of it would be, but i know my cousins have one and i’ve wanted one since i first played theirs when i was like 10. and also if you could tell me on average how much they are and where i could get one.
I’ve read around and many people say it’s the Korg MicroKorg. You can get one at your local GuitarCenter for $400, if you’re in the States.
Personally I think the MicroKorg sucks. The Alesis Micron will give you more for the same price (at Guitar Center as well). It’s a little harder to use and understand though.
If you own a computer and a workstation software that supports VST, such as FL Studio, then try Lennar Digital’s Sylenth1 instead. It sounds better than both the Micron and the MicroKorg, for half the price. You can also use a MIDI controller to control it with your fingers.
